Umineko no Naku Koro ni -The Ronde of the Witch and Reasoning- TGS Footage

September 18, 2010

Those effects. Those lip movements. THAT BURNED UP KINZO.

Also, I know I’ve been slow on music reviews (for the few of you that actually come to read them), but life has been extremely busy lately. Blame school. Anyways, I’ll try to get to some Shoujo Byou if I ever get the chance.

Umineko Alchemist Port Scheduled for December 16

September 14, 2010

CGs are always nice.

So it turns out that Alchemist isn’t making an H-game for Umineko. Shame, I’d love to see Erika…nevermind. Anyways, the port is scheduled for release December 16, 2010 for the Playstation 3, and it looks like EP1-4 will be ported. Yep. But PS3 makes it harder to backport things to patch the PC version ;_;.

About the sprites themselves, they’re very shiny and better drawn than lolRyukishi art, but the facial expressions aren’t as good as Ryukishi’s in my opinion.

Alchemist showing off the new OP (which is pretty damn sexy imo even though it’s not Shikata) and talking about it or something.

The game is called: Umineko no Naku Koro ni -The Ronde of the Witch and Reasoning-

All BGM will be left intact with 1980×1080 native resolution.

And apparently those Alchemist portraits are actually for an unrelated erogame called Gal Gun where you shoot girls with something and they make erotic noises or something.  Oh wow my hentai joke was right on the mark. …does it have Erika?

Anyways, hit the jump for more screens.

DJ Max Portable 3 – Release Date + Gameplay Videos

September 12, 2010

Dem graphics. As far as the music really goes, nothing really stands out for me, and I’m hoping that there’s some more new songs other than those. Something from zts maybe? But aside from the songs, DEM GRAPHICS.

And lol gay bar.

Release date will be October 14th, with the PSN release on the 19th. There’s also a Limited Edition that’s coming out, but that kind of thing is too pricey for me. Hit the jump for more info and the gameplay videos. Read the rest of this entry »

The Simpsons Review Part 1: The Classic Era

September 11, 2010

For those who may be confused, this is the beginning of reviews of Americana on drizzly rain. Japanese reviews will not stop, and these reviews will not eclipse the Japanese reviews; they are merely a side-project. With that said, on to the review:

Back in the 90s, one of the greatest cartoons ever made aired on public television. But, before that,  there was The Simpsons.

So, having had a binge session of The Simpsons, I decided to use this as the starting point of my review blogs. In order to organize this review in an organized fashion, I’m going to divide the reviews by show runners (i.e. the executive producers) Read the rest of this entry »

avengers in sci-fi – Delight Slight Lightspeed

September 10, 2010

I just randomly grabbed this off of SOOPAH SEEKRET MOOSIK SOCIETY because their group and album names reminded me of school food punishment for some reason.

Also, I know I haven’t been doing many music reviews lately. School’s been keeping me busy and my input of albums hasn’t been all that great lately. Go figure. Read the rest of this entry »

NisiOisin – Zaregoto Book 2: The Kubishime Romanticist

September 9, 2010

If you think you’re a twisted human being, you probably haven’t met Ii-chan yet.

What to say, what to say about this light novel? I just spent the past hour procrastinating on homework to finish reading this, and by god it was totally worth it. It’s been a while since I last read the Kubikiri Cycle, so my memory is a little fuzzy when it comes to Ii-chan’s character, or perhaps, his lack thereof. Strangely enough, this book’s cast refers to him as Iikun, so I guess I’ll go about using that name for this review. Read the rest of this entry »
