(Amagami SS OP2) azusa – Kimi no Mama de

October 21, 2010

I feel bad for dropping Amagami SS now. ;__;

Maybe I’ll pick it back up later sometime or something. Most likely that won’t be the case, but ehhhhhhh.

Album: Kimi no Mama de
Artist/Circle: azusa
Release Type: Commercial anime single
Release Date: 10/20/2010

  1. Kimi no Mama de
    I want to see the animation that goes with this now. It’s a really nice light pop track, with a pretty subdued tone that is close to ballad territory but is not quite there yet. azusa’s vocals are really nice to listen to, and the melody is a simple piano background with some occasional acoustic guitar along with her voice. It’s a fun yet simple little song, and the short little instrumental ditty with the violin a little more than halfway through along with the rest of the song is a treat for the ears.
  2. Cappuccino
    With a song title like that, this has to be a light and easy song that you might hear at a cafe. And apparently, it is. The simplicity and lightness of this track feels very airy and uplifting, and the lounge atmosphere of the song really makes you feel right at home if it was playing in the background while you relax with a cup of coffee.
  3. Kutsu no Oto
    Another soft pop track from azusa. This song feels almost like a lullaby with how light it it, and azusa’s soft voice would help put any person to sleep. In a good way. It’s very simplistic like the other songs in this single, yet simplicity is a good thing if done right. People get tired after nothing but clustered techno tracks blazing everywhere.
  4. Kimi no Mama de (Instrumental)
    I am reminded of how iLove still had “I LOOOOOOOOOOVE YOUUUUU, FROM MY HEART, I LOVE YOU FOREVER WITH YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU” at the beginning of it even though it was the instrumental track.

Rating: 5/5 (azusa’s soft voice is a real treat for the ears, and this single is immensely enjoyable for a relaxing day.)

  1. Thanks for the file link. The Kimi no mama de instrumental track is awesome, even though some parts of the vocals remain. Cappuccino is a relaxing song. Kutsu no Oto sounds cute <3

  2. Indeed Kimi no Mama de is a nice song. The 5/5 rating is justified. :D
